Most wanted gang member arrested in Houston
A notorious gang member who was listed on the “10 most wanted fugitives” list in Texas was recently arrested by authorities in the Houston area, according to an article from click2houston.com.
Reports state that 29-year-old Gilberto Ruvalcaba was arrested by personnel from the DPS Criminal Investigations Division Special Agents, and the U.S. Marshalls Service Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force. Ruvalcaba reportedly was wanted for violating his parole. Investigations revealed that Ruvalcaba was believed to be staying in a house near Houston. A $7,500 reward was offered by the Texas DOT to capture Ruvalcaba however, the reward was not given to anyone as no one provided them additional information. Ruvalcaba, who was convicted of aggravated robbery armed with a deadly weapon in 2011, was listed last year in Houston’s “most wanted gang members.” Authorities from the Texas Highway Patrol also provided assistance to arresting officers.
