Justin Bieber arrested in Canada, charged with assault
Canadian pop star Justin Bieber was arrested while in Canada after being involved in an altercation that took place after a motor vehicle collision, CNN reported on September 2.
The incident occurred on August 29 in Perth County when the All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) of the 20-year-old singer collided with a small van. Ontario Provincial Police stated that Bieber and an occupant from the van engaged in a “physical altercation.” Bieber was with Selena Gomez when the incident took place. Authorities later discharged Bieber, who was charged with assault, after agreeing to appear in court on September 29 to address all charges filed against him.
