Doctor accused of sexually assaulting children arrested in Texas
Authorities of the Harris County Sheriff’s Department recently arrested a doctor after he was suspected of committing multiple felonies involving children, a January 13 article of KFYO reported.
Reports said that Doctor Ricky Haywood-Watson II was arrested on January 8 due to suspicion that he sexually assaulted at least four children between the ages of four and ten. At least four sexual-related charges were filed against the doctor. Following Haywood-Watson’s arrest, the Texas Medical Board made the decision to suspend his license for the time being on January 12. Further action may be taken depending on the investigators’ findings. A bail of $400,000 was imposed on Haywood-Watson, and he has been placed on administrative leave until the investigation is concluded.
