NFL player apprehended for driving under the influence

Former NFL player Jamal Anderson was recently arrested in Hall County, Georgia after authorities accused him of driving a vehicle while under the influence, a September 24 report from CBS 46 stated.

At about 2:00 a.m. on September 20, the 42-year-old former running back for the Atlanta Falcons was stopped by authorities on Friendship Road. A DUI charge was filed against Anderson after he was pulled over by police near Deaton Creek Parkway. According to reports, this incident was not the first time that Anderson was arrested for a DUI. Additionally, he was apprehended for suspected cocaine possession in 2009.
