Murder charge filed for death of Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter

A man is currently facing a murder charge after Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, was found dead in New York, an article of Reuters reported.

According to reports, 30-year-old Lamar Davenport was arrested after witnesses saw him attacking Freeman’s granddaughter, E’Dena Hines. Davenport was Hines’ boyfriend at the time. Prior to the fatal incident, witnesses stated that they had seen Davenport assaulting Hines and yelling unusual things. Hines reportedly died from several stab wounds she sustained from the attack.

Davenport was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation after he was charged. E’Dena was murdered on August 16th at the age of 33. She was found dead on a street not far away from her apartment in Washington Heights.
