Man linked to multiple robberies in Texas arrested

A man was recently arrested in Houston after authorities suspected his involvement in over 35 incidents of robberies in many parts of Texas, an article of ABC 13 reported late last month.

Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nam Nguyen on August 25th in Westheimer. Nguyen, 50, was apprehended after he allegedly robbed a Walgreens drug store. Court records showed Nguyen using a toy gun when robbing stores. From August 10 to 25, authorities believed that Nguyen had robbed 36 drugstores in many parts of Texas including Harris County, Houston and Pearland. Nguyen, who had a previous criminal conviction, was charged of robbery threats and aggravated robbery.
