Driver busted for crashing into patrol car in Texas

A vehicle driver who was suspected of attempting to leave after damaging a police vehicle was arrested in Laredo, Texas, an article from kgns.tv reported on October 10.

According to reports 19-year-old Hector Manuel Alvarado was arrested by authorities after he was involved in a vehicular accident at the intersection between San Augustine Avenue and Baltimore. Alvarado reportedly was not paying attention while behind the wheel when he ran through a stop traffic signal and struck the patrol vehicle. The unidentified officer whose vehicle was stopped after the accident hitched a ride using private vehicle and apprehended Alvarado not far from the crash scene.
