Chicago Bears cornerback arrested on DUI charge

Tim Jennings of the Chicago Bears was recently discharged from Gwinnett County Jail on January 7 after being arrested for intoxicated driving, ajc.com reported.

The 31-year-old veteran cornerback reportedly paid a bond of $2,711 for his release, Sheriff Deputy Shannon Volkodav confirmed. Jennings was clocked going nearly 100 mph on Interstate 85 when he was stopped by law enforcement. He was charged with reckless driving and DUI after the officer noticed that he smelled strongly of alcohol. Jennings may also face disciplinary measures from the NFL.
