Bill Cosby facing sex crimes lawsuit
American comedian Bill Cosby was recently sued by a woman who claimed he sexually violated her during her teenage years, ABC News reported on December 3.
According to the lawsuit filed by Judy Huth, the 77-year-old comedian allegedly assaulted her in 1974 when she was 15 years old. Huth claimed that she suffered psychological and mental problems after the incident she described as, “traumatic.” Although Cosby has never before been charged in relation to allegations like this, more women have recently come forth with similar stories.
Cosby has cancelled recent stand-up shows, and TV-Land stopped playing re-runs of “The Cosby Show.” The comedian’s defense stated that there is no substance to these claims, and they are, “fantastical stories.”
