16 suspected drug distributors face charges in Dallas

At least 16 suspected drug dealers are facing charges after they were arrested by federal authorities in Texas, an article by The Dallas Morning News reported on May 29.

According to U.S. Attorney John Parker, drug-related charges including a scheme to distribute cocaine were filed against the suspects that were believed to be from North Texas or Oklahoma. The suspects whose names were not released were all apprehended by FBI agents and Dallas authorities on May 27. The 16 suspected drug dealers were allegedly distributing illegal drugs since 2013, federal prosecutors stated. The suspects may face 20 years of maximum federal imprisonment and pay fines of up to $1 million if found guilty of the charges.
